To connect to the new system you just need to open the web page: http://www.shangshunginstitute.net/webcast/index.php with a normal Internet browser with flash plugin installed (like Firefox or Internet Explorer). We moved the old system to a new server in Amsterdam to improve the quality of internet connection. The change is just in the connection string for old system (that we suggest to use only if you have heavy problems with the new one). For the new connection strings for the OLD SYSTEM see below! Also Teamspeak users should change the server address to: www.freezecast.com The old system will be used only as AUDIO. To follow the webcast with old system, you only need an internet connection and a media player that supports mp3 (VLC is preferred it's free and available for Windows, Mac, Linux). Then simply enter the URL http://www.freezecast.com:8000/audio in your player at the time of the live webcast (see Calendar) and listen. If your connection is slow, to avoid buffering use the alternate url http://www.freezecast.com:8000/audio_low .
NOTE: To use the url in VLC, you have to go to MEDIA, OPEN NETWORK STREAM, choose on the left HTTP and on the right place the URL (as described before), if any error would happen VLC will give you an error report. If you require assistance from us, please include VLC's error report in the email.
